Clueless Lou's is a site designed to help those whose web pages are hosted on Unix or Linux machines, but whose personal OS is Windows 95/98. We'll begin by covering the basic information necessary for running CGI scripts. Then we'll go through the process of installing Perl and the Apache server on Windows so as to be able to edit and run CGI scripts locally, without the need to go on-line.
This is not a site for those running CGI scripts on WinNT; you can find excellent support for running CGI programs written in Perl at the ActiveState website. We especially recommend the Perl-Win32-Users Mailing List.
