Observem que, quan el segon element d'una conjunció comparativa és I, he, she, we o they, se sol afegir l'auxiliar del verb després del pronom; p.e., She reads as many books as I do (no: ...
as many books as I) (Ella llegeix tants llibres com jo). En anglès informal és possible també l'ús del pronom objectiu (i.e., me, him, her, us i them): She reads as many books as me. Més exemples:
5) No pesen tant com nosaltres.
They don't weigh as much as we do (o ... as us).

You got up as early as they did (o ... as them), didn't you?
7) Pots aixecar tant pes com ell?
